Good point. I may possibly want to make it at least a week maybe? There isn't a whole lot of family and most of the trial is based on physical evidence. And actually I don't think I'm going to detail much of the trial in the book, but focus more on the verdict. As a reader, would you want to read through an entire chapter of nothing but the trial, or would it add to the suspense? I'm also wondering if it would clear up any missing details as to why they were charged. I'm just not sure, but I do know I would need to do a whole lot more research because I've never been to a trial before (and I don't think I'll wish for it or I'll jinx myself - I'm on call for jury duty this month!) ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
