I am glad to hear you say that, because the "sounds of silence" has been through the mill as far as revisions are concerned (I try to set one day aside for going over my work and revising). I will look up Ernest "PAPA" Hemingway's site today and see if I can find what he said. I have also come to understand, that not everything I write will turn into something worth reading. I think I have to learn when to let certain poems, and prose as well, go. You have also inspired me to try and write 500 words a day. I have started a journal in my "Word" and put it in a folder, with a shortcut right to my desktop. I am determined to become a poet and writer. Thank-you for your input.
