The Parable of the Sower... That's giving me some ideas, like a drug deal going array. The main character, like the seeds that landed on the path, just got swept away in the wick world. I can put the main character's down on the deck, at eye level with the flower. Then use it symbolically. But that might be too difficult for a 15 minutes draft. I'll already chosen projects too big for this contests.

That might be too violent. In contests like this, I like to pull my punches. I think it's good practice to craft my stories without relying on sex and violence. That way when I do use such elements my characters are much more real. I'll grab a theme tomorrow and run with it.
