I dropped the only creative writing class I ever took because the instructor said the types of stories I like to read and write aren't "real" literature. I use the "what if" process when I write. I look at the poker playing guy and ask as many what if questions as I can "What if he gets robbed for his winnings?" "What if he wakes up and the whole game was a dream?" "What if he tries to win even more and loses?" ans so on. I have to have the whole story mapped out in my head before I write one word and I don't let anyone see them until they've been edited several times. That being said, I still don't know what to do with the poker guy! Arakun ** Image ID #1319944 Unavailable ** |
