I thought your story was awesome!

I don't enter this contest to win (although that would be a nice surprise!), but to make myself think about an idea before writing. I won't lie--it's incredibly difficult to get something decent on the first round because I'm a compulsive editor.

The prompts are all over the map--forcing me to write about subjects I wouldn't normally entertain. Like today's prompt. Dueling? I'm a pacifist, baby.
