I think this is a great contest for newbies and oldies; it's a good way to get into the habit of writing every day, and if you last all the way through, you've stored that habit and hopefully can continue writing each day.

I'm glad you're enjoying WDC! WDC's members are pretty good at giving useful reviews; I've learned so much in the past two, almost three, years I've been here. It's a pretty awesome place, if I do say so myself.
