Interesting, one of the thoughts I originally had was that they were pulling a shipwreaked boat through a canal. Mind you they ate the survivors when they reached their destination. I knew I would not be able to write enough backstory in the time alloted, so I flirted with some other ideas, before settling on my rather uncharacteristic take on it.

Mind you leaving my comfort zone is one of the things I wanted to attempt on this journey of 15 days. Yesterday allowed me that opportunity.
