I run a daily 300 word contest and sometimes have to disqualify very well written entries because they aren't complete stories.

I'm pretty good at short stories but couldn't write a novel to save my life. Most people have trouble knowing what to cut from their stories, but I have the opposite problem. I write a bare bones skeleton and have trouble adding to it!
