To find fifteen minutes to write a story. Although, I had no time to actually think about it.

I had two concepts early this morning, and then it got crazy at my house. Unexpected guests were coming out of the woodwork. Well unexpected for me at least. Apparently everyone else knew we were having fifteen for supper.

Shouldn't the recipient of a surprise party not have to do any cooking, cleaning or other work?

Oh well, it was the thought that counts.

So, at almost midnight I was able to sit down and write. All my ideas gone by the wayside due to exhaustion. I started with one line.

"I can't do this."

Fifteen minutes later, well let's just say - at least I had an entry.

Am I happy with it?

Not really.

Am I pleased that I still managed to write something?

Immensely.
