This is a brilliant idea and I love it.

My crafty projects are a bit like my writing projects at the moment, piled up and waiting for me to spend some time with them. I have tried many things over the years and enjoy being creative when I can. These days with work and real life, writing gets squeezed in, but I manage occasionally to make a gift.

Some of the things I have tried over the years are, macrame, glass painting, making flowers out of stockings, drawing, painting, scrape booking, sewing, knitting, crochet, cross stitch, tapestry, landscaping, gardening, card making, pressing flowers and making pictures with them, using seeds to make pictures, folk art painting, paper mache, paper craft, chocolate making, cake decorating, and photography. Things still on the list to try are candle making, soap making, embroidery, candle wicking, making paper and costume making. Things I am currently still trying are orchid growing, herb gardening, and home decorating. I would love to try belly dancing and make the costumes for it.

I love to shop around for bargains and different things to decorate my home. My favourite items are gifts from friends, either made or bought, and one day I hope to fill my house with specially made pieces. I just have to find the time to make them, but at the moment renovations are top of the list.

All I have to do is give up work so I have the time to fit in all my creative endeavours, but then I would have no money to live on. One day I will have the time to finish everything.
