I see this contest as being very similar to NaNoWriMo. In NaNoWriMo, if you strive for perfection, you will never get your word count in. In 15 for 15, you will never be perfect in 15 minutes. In both cases, for me, if I throw out the perfection thing and just start writing, stories come out that may never have been.
