Wow, really? I research everything to death... I hate inconsistencies! But yea, it does get in the way of writing.

Fortunately I didn't need to research this one :D It's longer than my other entries, but since it's a memory of my own I could write it quicker.

EverAnon, I think if the chute tore, you'd probably fall down pretty fast :p So that's not really an inconsistency. I think paragliders usually have the strings attached to this body piece which also goes around the legs. And you don't really go straight down, but can really glide all over the place, up or down. I once saw the olympics team doing tricks, that looked scary. They'd fall down in a spiral and go up again, even saw a salto once.
