Only problem I have is I hate coming up with new character names.
'Tis what the great internet is for - you can type in 'boy names' or 'girls names' plus a nationality that generally has exotic sounding names, or ones that otherwise fit the situation. I do that all the time. And if I need to name a place, I type in a main feature of the place and play around on google translate until I get something that sounds cool.

I suppose it might take a little too much time for this contest, though.
