I can't tell you how many years I faced the same. The nights were always the worst. Most who know me here would know why, because here I can be myself - even humor my fondness for blatant profanity depending upon the item rating. Regarding "The Other" however, there were no outlets in my rural hometown.

In creating this Initiative, we had several goals: provide the resources needed for teens at risk and their loved ones, raise awareness for all the topics that Brooke so brilliantly researched and arranged, challenge the tragic status quo at every opportunity, and as you've demonstrated with your post, allow a safe location in which members of the WdC community can share their own experiences and offer their support.

I can't thank you enough for your generous offer to aid us in our cause or for sharing what was no doubt a difficult paragraph to publicly post...
