...it's been since a friend in high school committed suicide. There were unfortunately several other suicides by my classmates during my high school years, and I was terrified at each but grateful that I hadn't really known them that well and couldn't feel the loss. That all changed that Tuesday, though I wouldn't find out till Wednesday. If you or a friend is considering suicide, please, I beg you, use the resources available here.

Two months ago, a student in my house at my university also committed suicide. Again, I didn't know him well, though I had met him two nights prior. He was very amicable, but he had told no one. If you or a friend is considering suicide, please, tell someone.
