I also look at the prompt early in the morning and just let it stay in the back of my mind all day. I can't start writing until I have the story completely set in my head though. By the time I start typing, I'm not writing, I'm transcribing. If I started and let the story lead me where it would, I wouldn't have one finished in the 15 days, let alone 15 minutes! Normally, nothing I write makes it to the computer screen unless it has been edited at least 5 times in my head. This is a good exercise in just getting something down, and also the prompts lead me to write stories I might not normally write. Arakun ** Image ID #1319944 Unavailable ** |
