Tip tap tip tap goes the gnome in my head. Not many people know but gnomes are everywhere. They help my brain work and they do a million other little jobs to make things easier for everyone else. One of my favourites though is the one that heals my skin if I am hurt. He is always sewing away at my skin, replacing little patches that I have torn away. I make him work so hard though. Everyone looks at me like I am crazy when I talk to my little gnomes. Sometimes I wish they could see them too. Other times I just want to keep them to myself. I’m not sure when I first noticed the gnomes. I must have been about ten or eleven. Something awoke in me and since that time I have been able to see and hear things that no one else could. Creatures that some people say could never exist, have come to me at random times. The little gnomes that keep me safe are my favourites though. They are so friendly and helpful. I never want for anything.
