To clarify for everyone: You don't have to post your work in the forum at all. Just a simple "Day 1 done!" will do. You will lose your prep work in the flood of messages if you post it in your messages. If you don't have room in your port for anything but the contest entries, then keep a copy on your computer and a backup copy on some kind of external storage!
