If I understand you right, non members can read this post and follow any links I post here, but when they click links to my assignments, they will see the message, "You are not authorised to view this Item".

And the links to our Items that are posted off the forum in other areas of the Group Items are only accessible by Group members?

I just discovered the 'e-mail' option right at the bottom of the create/edit form. In case anybody's interested, this option prevents any feedback on your Item except in the form of a private e-mail message to you.
