Days 4 & 5 Complete
I have a few minor characters that will be introduced later in the story (one of which I'll use as "Minor #1" later on), but for now I decided to use more detailed profiles for my three protagonists to suffice for both days' assignments. To explain the personality sections a bit more and hopefully help you make more sense, the characters are all graphed according to trait dimensions and then by the "big five" (psychology jargon): so what's listed after the "personality" block is their graphing according to a "Introvert/Extravert : Emotionally Stable/Emotionally Unstable" scale, and then the "big five" are listed below along with the traits each character takes from it. After the personality blocks, I list certain traits that were identified by a newsletter a long while back as things that make characters more interesting: magnetism, attitude, integrity, flaws, and willpower (some of which may sound repetitive).

(All three characters are 16 and pages in the city of Ellidar)
Cole Beshim:

Description: Average height and build with black hair, blue eyes, and the typical light Ellidarian tan

Personality: Extravert / Unstable (changeable / impulsive / optimistic / restless) internal locus of control

Conscientiousness- Disorganized / Careless / Impulsive
Agreeableness- Pseudo-ruthless (believes in caste system) / Suspicious / Helpful
Neroticism- Anxious / Insecure / Self-pitying
Openness- Imaginative / Prefers variety / Independent
Extraversion- Sociable / Fun-loving / Reserved

General:
Aspirations- Becoming a great general; leading armies
Motivations- Jealousy, pride, vengeance, curiosity, public image
Conflicts- Struggles to uphold public image / preserve self-esteem
Epiphany- Stops romaticising the concept of battle after an ambush (don't want to spoil it); pretends to be unfazed by it to uphold his image, and becomes snappy and tempermental as a result

Magnetism- Sense of pride and not wanting to look bad in front of others are traits everyone can relate to
Attitude- Determination / Stubbornness
Integrity- Learning methodology behind things; unknowingly pushes himself to excellence
Flaws- Jealousy / Being judgmental
Willpower- Will do things as many times as it takes to master them

Background:
Cole is the son of Ellidar's chief scribe, Romon, which has birthed a keen and subconscious interest in the methodology behind things as well as an affinity with written word. He's also Jon's oldest friend and one of the minor nobility in Ellidar. He has a love for all things military and a strong desire to lead one someday.

Jon Haskar:

Description: Tall and somewhat muscular for his age, with brown hair and eyes. His complexion is slightly darker than the others (olive-colored) because of his heritage.

Personality: Extravert / Stable (sociable / outgoing / responsive / lively) external locus of control

Conscientiousness- Organized / Careful / Disciplined
Agreeableness- Soft-hearted / Trusting / Helpful
Neuroticism- Calm / Secure / Self-pitying
Openness- Practical / Prefers routine / Conforming
Extraversion- Sociable / Fun-loving / Affectionate

General:
Aspirations- Knighthood; later wants to marry Adele (baron's daughter)
Motivations- Sense of duty, equality, pleasing parents (and later Adele)
Conflicts- Upholding public image (or adhering to expectations); fulfilling duty to House and promoting equality simultaneously
Epiphany- Realizes caste system is inherently flawed (and therefore his parents' ways) when Dirk is still treated with contempt (and him with preference) after knighthood; struggles to choose between duty to House and achieving eqaulity, and the decision begins to weigh heavily on him

Magnetism- Seeking parents' approval and promoting equality for all are both traits readers can sympathize with
Attitude- Democratic / Voice of reason
Integrity- Standing for fairness
Flaws- Overly critical about his own mistakes and shortcomings; bottles things up ("inner demons")
Willpower- Stands for what he believes is right, and later starts to do so even in the face of uncertainty

Background:
The son of Ellidar's Captain of the Guard, Stannin (who also served in the Royal Guard before the fall of Kalleia), and a Kalleian diplomat, Jasphine, Jon feels that he has a lot of expectations to live up to, and in many ways he's right. House Haskar is possibly the highest of the noble Houses in Ellidar, aside from the Minodrokans' (the baron's family). However, he sees the "importance" of his House as an imbalance in the social system, and he has a subconscious drive to balance it through democratic means

Dirk Vy'nar:

Description: Slightly shorter than most in Ellidar but not any smaller, with blond hair and green eyes that set him apart from everyone else.

Personality: Introvert / Stable (careful / thoughtful / peaceful / controlled / reliable / calm / passive)

Conscientiousness- Organized / Careful / Disciplined
Agreeableness- Soft-hearted / Suspicious / Helpful
Neuroticism- Calm / Secure / Self-satisfied
Openness- Practical / Prefers routine / Conforming
Extraversion- Retiring / Sober / Reserved

General:
Aspirations- Achieving status legally; "finding a place in life"; later fighting poverty
Motivations- Acceptance, charity, and abiding the law
Conflicts- Being a foreigner in Ellidar; ashamed of his past and unconsciously wants to share it
Epiphany- Eventually comes to the realization that others have worse upbringings than his and that he should stop accepting society's treatment as punishment for his past, because he's done nothing wrong; drives him to reconnect with his family later on.

Magnetism- Charitable / "human". His perceptive and charitable natures appeal to what most people aspire to be
Attitude- Empathetic / Observant and skeptical
Integrity- Accepts life as it comes without complaining; doesn't accept unnecessary power
Flaws- Feels guilty for upbringing and views himself as a fraud because of it
Willpower- Driven to succeed (legal social status without comprimising morals)

Background:
Dirk comes from Phylan, a chain of islands known for piracy and brutality. His exact origins, including his birthplace, remain a mystery to all, including Jon and Cole. He came to Ellidar through a series of temporary "foster parents" after running away, though he uses a variety of false stories with the people of Ellidar.
