I find myself wanting to do this after spending literally years only writing newsletters, and that's pretty much about it. I've written the occasional little silly story for a podcast that my husband and I submit to, but beyond that, I haven't been writing for a long time. I had a great blast doing the outlines and the character sketches for this prep, but I have run into a generic sort of "bleh" when I did my contest entry today. In fact, I got all of the others done early so I could spend a little more time on it, but then I ended up not spending the extra time at all. I ended up just sitting and staring at my screen for three days before finally getting something down this morning. I'm not happy with it, really, but it's up. I'm hoping it's better than I think it is, because sometimes that happens. I have a feeling that the majority of my uncertainty comes from the fact that it has been so very long since I've really written something completely creative. I remember, now, how it is to be a newb and show your writing that you are not really confident about to everyone. Good luck all!
