I prefer not to share this, as it reveals too much. Great writing exercise for me. I went to bed last night with a couple of possibilities for the back story. Woke up this morning and raced to my laptop to capture a scenario.

However, as it reveals crucial things about Devin's circumstances which have to be unveiled slowly in the novel, I don't want to post it here.

I am looking forward to reading the other stories though.
