I've seen that around, I think. Must have been in one of the second-hand shops I was looking in. My non-human characters are all mythological creatures - fairies, dragons, elves, unicorns, etc. I am going to try and keep my 'world' as close to the real world as possible while incorporating those creatures. The basic premise of the story is that a young boy is given a journal and starts writing a story about himself meeting these mythological creatures - but everything he writes comes true! So, for instance, he writes about going to find a dragon and finds himself in Scotland on a dragon hunt. So I don't know if that book would relevant or not?? I recently ordered a book called the 'Dictionary of Made Up Languages' which apparently includes the Elvish language - I'm looking forward to that one arriving!
