I too have small children (4 girls under 5) and a husband who works 6:30am to 7pm most days. It's a challenge. I don't have a corner on what to do, but some of my suggestions are giving the kids a project (depending on their ages) to do and writing while they are doing it; writing during nap time; finding a mother's helper (if you can afford it) who can come in for an hour or two after school and help with the kids while you're there writing. Of course, the writing after they are in bed or before they get up is an option, but I find that to be the most difficult. If you haven't done the writing sprint, that might help you get some perspective on how long the writing will take when you get to November. Just do your best; some days will be easier than others. ![]() Smiles, Amy |
