It's kind of funny. I attempted a start to chapter 14 of my current novel a little while ago, and I realized that I was foreshadowing an event that was what I submitted last night for the contest round. I suppose since in the story it happened a thousand years ago, it's more of a flashback than a foreshadow, but I never planned on utilizing this in my stories. It's funny that a book in planning is changing a book in progress. I suppose it's good that this is happening. Thanks for this event. It's really changed my writing. J. M.
