For my story today I wrote a short story which detailed a fictional meeting of the war deprtment in Japan as the leaders of the japanese forces laid out their plans for the Pearl Harbour attack. Malayasian conflict, the taking of Hong Kong and the philipinnes. The objects were oil, rubber and iron ore that japan needed to keep its industries going. It is the historic impetus for my novel.
