So, you're good? ![]() In case you're not, yes, you're assigning times to your events. Did you see the post about outlining subplots in table form? Here's the JK Rowling version: http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/images/jkrowlingpage.jpg Notice she has not only identified what happens first, second, third, etc. in all of her subplots, but she also identified *WHEN* they happened - Oct., Nov., Dec., etc. in the left-hand column. It may be helpful to you to identify what plot events are happening simultaneously, or before or after each other, even if you don't necessarily write them in chronological order.
