Storm & Scare. I think you are both right. If I write Matt's search in real time, what he looks for, what he finds and all that happens to him, love, fear, aggression and then resolution. Katherine's story will told in the past and in her real time. Neither story has any connection except for the people in them are in both times. The two uncles and the town's people that are still alive. So Storm writing those cliff hangers at the end of the chapters may have to be arranged to be written in the revision or if I get inspired with a great ending I will insert (New Chpt) and keep writing.
I think you are saying I should write one at a time first Matt's quest, then Katherine's story that leads to the incident that separated the family to what and where they are in Matt's time.
