I know this is a bit late in the day to be asking this question. . .

I have two novels in mind and have done some prep on both of them. Which has more appeal?

The first is - girl discovers her boyfriend has been unfaithful to her with her sister. She rejects her family and spirals into a world of drinking, drugs and sex. Her new boyfriend gets involved with drug dealers and when their lives are threatened, she contacts her twin brother who refuses to come. She texts her younger brother and he does come to her rescue, but he is shot and paralysed. The novel then dwells on how both twins have to overcome their feelings of guilt, to love again, and how the family survives, as a whole.

The second is - A guy causes an accident in which his Dad is killed and his sister is left scarred in a wheelchair (hmmm sounds like I have a wheelchair obsession) An burglary gone wrong leaves his sister decapitated. This starts a series of models being decapitated, and just the bodies being left behind. What has happened to the heads? Why are they being taken? Can Detectives Janie and Ryan find out in time - Janie is an ex model too. Are her days numbered too? Twelve heads...and Christmas is coming... 

So which one do I do for Nano?????
