The timing is awful. But here is my "bright side" opinion... 1. That accident could have been a lot worse. I am glad that you are able to post in the forum. 2. Don't try to do more than you are able. You also have to heal from this accident. 3. Every word you write is a way to the end of the novel. Take heart that you can do this, but it might not all happen this month. And that this may lead to a slow start that might ramp up as the month progresses and you are not falling asleep from the medication all the time. Did you ever read Stephen King's On Writing?{I/} one of the parts I really remember from that book was that he was walking and hit by some kind of van that left him unable to it and write for a long time. He (to me) sounded a bit bitter about it even at the writing, which was a couple years after the accident. He has made it through that accident. You will manage despite yours. I wish you fast healing and a swift journey back to writing. ![]() ![]() |
