That's a great idea. Even if you can't get your hands on a dictaphone, most smart phones nowadays have the ability to record long voice messages. Even if you just stockpile the recorded messages until you are better, at least you might feel like you're achieving something. And who knows, someone might be feeling a bit frustrated and helpless about being able to give you some assistance in your time of need and appreciate the opportunity to help. And if you don't have a smart phone, you can always go old school with a cassette recorder! ![]() Maybe you can have pen and paper there, and everyone who comes to visit has to take at least 10 minutes of dictation.
