Cherry, back to your original question, have you figured out the passkey problem? Here's how a passkey works: For anyone who does not otherwise have access to your piece, the passkey provides access. So if your work is private, you can passkey it and provide the passkey to others, who can use the passkey to access it. If your work is set, for example, to the Prep group only, then those of us in the Prep group automatically can see your work, no passkey required (even if a passkey is set.) However, you can set a passkey and give it to, say, your sister or your friend or someone who's not in the group, and they will now be able to see it. So, the privacy rating overrides the passkey.

In all combinations of passkey/privacy rating, you - the author and owner of the item - will always be able to access the piece while logged in. If you want to check the privacy and passkey yourself, try copying the URL of the piece, logging out, and then trying to load the URL in your web browser without logging back in. Assuming you've set any kind of privacy at all (anything other than public), you won't be able to access the piece, and it will ask you for the passkey. Try entering the passkey and see if you can view it then.
