Congratulations! It's a respectable number. I've recently entered one of those points in the story that are overwhelmingly difficult to write. I've soared beyond the 50,000 mark, but I very much desire to complete this book, so I'll be typing it well beyond november. I'm having an extreme difficulty at placing in vital backstory that will fuel the motivations of one of my antagonists. As we've discussed in the Espresso Hall, I've wrote the next character that really REALLY sent my story a new direction, but now I have to tie the two skewed points of the story together, and my good god, i've never had so much trouble in writing it. The backstory is there, and I wrote it, read it, and stamped it with approval. The history itself is what ties everything together, but I'm afraid of revealing too much too soon, for the plot lies in the inevitable twist of it all at the end. J. M.
