Oh, my family definitely supports me. It was more of a humorous thing, really. They roll their eyes and sigh, but they always want to hear more (until I talk their ear off and they beg me to change the subject). It's a sort of resigned amusement, really. I am an odd duck, so my family encouraged my writing as a means of exercising my imagination and dealing with my general lack of outward social graces. My enthusiasm for my stories is often off-putting, is all, and so people who don't know me as well are often annoyed. My family just makes fun of me. Mercilessly.
