Yup, like Crys-not really here , I enjoyed the Prep better than NaNo itself, as last year was the first time for me with the Prep. I even copied and kept the calendar through the year to see if I could use it in another project.
So far getting to 50K has not been a problem, although each year -and this year is no exception- I worry about it because of my crazy real life.
As to getting stuck during the writing of the actual novel, those in the know suggest that we go back to the character motivation and re-examine it. If the motivation is strong enough, the character will do anything in his power to reach his goal.
