I've only managed to finish Nanowrimo once and that was in 2007 or 2008, the year I first heard about it. Since then, I've barely touched that novel except for some restructuring I've done in my head. But I will go back to it one day, hopefully next year sometime, for some serious editing. I tried last year in 2012 but failed dismally, it happened to be my busiest month at work. This year I have an assistant to help me ![]() Still, the idea from last year's Nanowrimo kept on sticking in my head and this year I want to give a serious attempt at fleshing it out. This prep challenge is awesome, much better than many 30 or 90 day plans to complete a novel that I've seen. I have to admit that my biggest motivation to do the prep challenge and participate in Nanowrimo is the prize of a review of my whole novel if I complete all those bonus assignments! ~Em |
