Like I said before If you just ask often enough eventually you'll get the answers you need. Last night I was watching Sleepy Hollow and got some very good subplots. Maybe my characters need the antagnoist to be bigger. The Catholic church may want to do whatever it takes to get the painting. While the Jewish exporter/importer may have other ideas and his religious upbringing shows him in a bad light and he feels the painting itself is misunderstood and the Jewish elect were shown in a bad light and it needs to be renounced. Destroyed.
