I'm still struggling with the best way to start. I think, since it's fantasy I need to start with some setting background. Something like, how the royal line came to be wizards, I'm leaning towards half wizard. The rest of the world is human. This sounds crazy. How true do I have to stay to whats excepted in fantasy. It's fantasy!

I'm still trying to learn how to write a novel, let alone how to write fantasy! I'm thinking about just winging it and see what happens. I may be expecting to much. The Prep has helped a lot, for someone who hasn't done much writing, the fear of it becoming a jumbles mess is weighing heavy on my psyche.
