And then I thought of some more goals outside of everyday high school life:

- survive the divorce
- survive the zombie apocalypse
- slay the vampires (I'm binge watching Buffy )
- save the school from foreign invasion
- save the school from alien invasion
- save the school from fairy invasion
- instigate zombie apocalypse, vampire apocalypse, foreign invasion, alien invasion, or fairy invasion
- solve the cafeteria-lady-poisoned-mashed-potatoes murder mystery
- cheat on the test
- spy on fellow classmate at the urging of government agency
- throw the awesomest homecoming/sadie hawkins/prom ever!
- lead student body on a revolt against "the man" (specifically, Principal Higgins)
- help best friend break out of their shell (and then eat them with a nice alfredo sauce)
- catch the heart of best friend/love interest
- play matchmaker with an obvious couple
- start secret society of flame-throwing penguin princesses
