The Assignment Log uses Google Drive to collect and report your completed work. Once your data is collected and organized by Google Drive, the data is then "pushed" to a website (which is your viewable Assignment Log.)

1. We are experiencing some lag time between the time you enter your data and the time it appears on the Assignment Log. Please allow five minutes for your data to appear before reporting any problems.

2. We have experienced a bug with the system in which some data appears to get "hung" and never make it to the Assignment Log. If you open the Assignment Log and see that your data is still missing after five minutes, check the tab marked "Raw Data" to make sure your data has been recorded. You should be near the bottom of the list if you just entered your data. So long as the data is on the "Raw Data" tab, your completed assignments are being properly recorded (and in fact are appearing properly on the Google Drive version of the Log tab, but are not making it to the web view for an unknown reason.) HOWEVER, please continue to report instances in which your data is not appearing on the "Log" tab after five minutes, as we are trying to troubleshoot this problem and working with Google to report the bug.

As a result of this second problem, we will manually send the list of eligible Contest Round entries to the judges rather than have them collect the entries from the web, just to make sure we don't miss any eligible entries.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please keep working on your novel prep and don't worry about the bug. Your Leaders are working diligently to fix this problem.
