For the couple of my stories where I've had different settings, I've described them as if I were writing a 'for sale' ad or creating a house listing. I'm not sure how to do this in a character questionaire form, though. Perhaps imagine yourself walking through each of your settings. What do you see? What colors stand out to you? What smells are there? What noises do you hear? What do the people wear there? What kinds of things do they do there? etc I hope this helps both of us. I'm creating a world for my novel and I haven't done that before, so I'm a bit nervous about setting as well. |
