Excellent points Elle, and thank you for giving me more to visualize when I get to working on my antagonist. May I also add that if the antagonist is a person, they need to possess some good qualities as well and the protagonist also needs to possess some bad. Not every good person is 100% good and not every bad person is 100% bad. (Sometimes though, it takes a lot of soul searching to be able to admit that about some people )
