Storm Machine : My original plan was that her twin sister would be in a car accident-- likely due to a drunk driver-- and have such a severe injury that's she would be in jeopardy of losing her full ride college scholarship. So this needs to be a pretty severe injury. The injury is also what prompts her twin sister to mend her relationship with her, and therefore grow as a person.
