I'd say write the murder from the POV of the victim and have him/her be disoriented and confused, leaving the actual perpetrator of the crime a series of blurs and dark shadows. Focus on the sensation of the murder...the feel of the knife, or the weakness and chill of blood loss. If they're suffocated, focus on the struggle to get air and the light-headedness/heavy eyelids. Panic, pain, and ultimately...nothing. That way, your reader gets the full brunt of the murder and all the emotion, but without any information about the killer. It's the writing equivalent of the shower scene from Psycho. -Quaddy ![]() ![]()
