I waffled in my opinion. And obviously you're unsure, too. I don't personally object, but if you and I both find ourselves wondering if others will think it's a problem, then there will probably be someone out there who objects. Do you care? It might actually garner publicity for your project, and ultimately, for as many people who complain, there will probably be others who defend your choice after reading the piece. If you'd rather go the conservative route, Chaos and Void are good. In early science, Aether was considered the fifth element (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_element.) Have you ever discovered http://www.visuwords.com/ ? This is a great resource for discovering not only synonyms (for which I typically use thesaurus.com), but also related words. For example (and these are only a handful of suggested words from the website): Dark gives: obscure, shadow, dour, sinister, black, shade, night (among others.) Void gives: null, nothing, vacant, empty, and (pardon my French, but this is too funny not to share), shitter. Toilet Aspects? Chaos gives: pandemonium, disorderly, physics, confusion, Greek mythology. Even if you don't find what you're looking for, sometimes you at least get a new starting point. Cheers, Michelle |
