I also am 'muddling through the middle' and like you, and it's frustrating, as I've defined less of my plot than you have. You state here that "passivity and stagnation are forced on him." Is he being drugged? bound? tortured? brainwashed? Perhaps his situation/condition is an another antagonist - also, is the other person/worker also a prisoner or a guard, trustee? that function can impact your character while imprisoned. What does he do to stay sane? are there some ways he rebels while imprisoned? does he plan on using their training against his jailors. Just from your paragraph here, you've given me an image as reader, incited questions, and some sympathy for the character. Look forward to reading his story ^_^ Write On Kate Kate - Writing & Reading Striving to life the ordinary life in a non-ordinary way. ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #611986 Sharing Restricted~~ ** Image ID #1987862 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1793102 Unavailable ** |
