Ahhh, ok. Then, think about statements that people often make out money. Is the husband a spendthrift or a bit of a miser? As in, does he complain more about other people spending his money or make excuses for his spending habits? Did he pay the woman to kill someone or did the woman pay him? Or are they in it together and someone else is demanding money? A lot of phrases about money are things like money trees, emptying pockets...But if you want something more unique, how about a reference to King Midas? This especially works if the man is complaining about spending too much money. -Quaddy Check this Out!
