Yes. The Elders are the previous rulers of the court. As the faerie live for a very long time, each one rules for 100 years and then becomes an Elder. As of now there are 12.

The other Characters in my novel are Ambrosia and Malik - They are the last two faerie born and are the last of the line. And then there is Simeon, one of the Elders and Malik's father.
