Re: Can you use real names in your stories?
I have read millions of story with Facebook and Twitter as the plot device. (Okay, not million, but many). One such book called Goodnight Tweetheart is based on the twitter chat.

I am not sure if the author gave some royalties to them or not, but I don't think it should be a big deal.
