The problem is, if I choose this particular project from the five or so I'm toying with, it's already established. Since it's part of a larger story arc, I know this story is 100% tragic. There IS a happy ending (the people Schindler saved, if you will), but it won't come out in this story because that's another story, a sequel for another NaNo. I'm trying to decide if I should bother telling this story. But this list that kerrimiller provided gave some great examples of truly tragic, Romeo-and-Juliet style, nobody-was-saved tragedy. https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/sad-ending Cheers, Michelle |
